    Quakertown East:

    Currently look for Second shift, Monday-Friday, 1:30 pm to 11:00 pm and Third shift, Sunday-Thursday, 9 pm to 7 am.

    PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible for supervision of customers’ product through entire cycle of the receiving and distribution process. This includes inbounds, out bounds, put away, picking, sanitation, inventory functions and special requests presented by our customers. Also responsible for the supervision of 20 plus warehousemen including, training designation, work assignments and disciplinary action.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to:

    • Stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk or hear.
    • Frequently use RF Scanning devices and a computer keyboard.
    • The employee ‘will occasionally lift and/or move objects ranging from 20 to 50 pounds.


    WORKING ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

    • General warehouse work (Supervising: Safety, sanitation, loading, unloading, putaway, picking, staging of pallets, etc.) with temperatures ranging from -10 to +40 degrees

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    Warehouse Supervisor daily requirements:

    • Coordinate all warehouse activity for a given shift including loading and unloading trucks, picking, sanitation, employee training, safety and general work flow.
    • Supervise tasking/work assignments for the shift.
    • Coordinate proper sanitation through work assignments, clean as you go techniques, documentation and warehouse inspections.
    • Use of warehouse material handling equipment, which may include pacers (stand up forklift), walkie-riders, high reach, pallet jacks and order pickers.
    • Promote safety and security daily and operate all equipment in a safe manor.


    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.     -Education: High School Degree or equivalent.

    -Experience: Prior forklift & warehousing, supervision, safety.

    -Specialized Knowledge: RF, AS400, MS Office, OSHA training requirements.

    -Special Skills: Detail and customer service oriented. Organization, effective written and oral communication, ability to analyze and solve problems, excellent mathematical skills. Excellent communication and training skills.

    -Other: Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
