  • Overview

    Primarily responsible for the maintenance and implementation of the company’s labor management system entitled the MARC program, Measuring Achievement through Recognition and Coaching. Responsible for implementing and evaluating best practices for warehouse functions, and will perform analysis of work processes to support the initiative. Employee will collect data through direct observation of work activities and through supervisory evaluations, and will report the data in various systems. Train employees in group settings and one-on-one to ensure employees understand and are comfortable with expectations. Will produce reports summarizing results and will test and validate data. May perform time and motion studies on worker operations for purposes of improving performance.

    Responsibilities

    • Analyze operational data to evaluate processes and operations
    • Document operational test results and procedural documents
    • Confer with technical personnel to prepare documentation and report results
    • Train personnel on proper operational procedures.
    • Devise research and testing protocols.
    • Determine operational criteria or specifications.
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Overtime will be a requirement of this position and flexibility of availability.

    (Expect a minimum of 10 overtime hours per week)

    • Strong math and reasoning skills
    • Attention to detail and ability to consistently proof own work
    • Capable of following verbal and written instructions
    • Have good communication skills: verbal and in writing
    • Reading Comprehension
    • Critical thinking – using logic and reasoning.
    • Be able to operate a computer, as well as be functional in WMS, and Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Be able to provide professional and courteous co-worker correspondence via phone, email, or in person.
    • Understand and follow company policy as stated in the employee handbook.
    • Confidentiality: This position requires the ability to identify sensitive information and to keep the information private.
