USCS is a leading national public refrigerated warehouse operator with a network of facilities across the United States.


    We currently seek a Class A Driver covering the local and regional area (California Only) operating 45’-53’ reefer trailers.


    No touch freight - pickup & deliveries 

    Home every night 

    Monday - Friday with some weekend 

    6 months behind the wheel experience 

    $16 to start





    • Safely operate a tractor to transport goods from or to customer locations following all local, state, and federal guidelines.
    • Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order. 
    • Follow appropriate safety and food safety procedures for transporting goods. 
    • Inspect loads to ensure that cargo is secure. 
    • Maintain logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.    
    • Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles. 
    • Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required. 
    • Check all load-related documentation for completeness and accuracy. 
    • Check conditions of trailers after contents have been unloaded to ensure that there has been no damage. 
    • Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as adding oil, fuel, or radiator fluid or performing minor repairs. 
    • Operate equipment, such as truck cab computers, CB radios, phones, and global positioning systems (GPS) equipment to exchange necessary information with bases, supervisors, or other drivers. 
    • Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices.
    • Load or unload trucks or help others with loading or unloading, using special loading-related equipment or other equipment as necessary. 
    • Follow special cargo-related procedures, such as checking refrigeration systems for frozen foods.

    • High School Degree/ GED Required
    • 1 year minimum experience operating Class A vehicles; reefer experience preferred
    • Must have a clean MVR and provide an MVR upon request
    • Must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal
    • Be able to read written English
    • Capable of following verbal and written instructions
    • Available to work various shifts
    • Capable of standing and walking extended periods of time, and getting into and out of a truck cab
    • Use hands and feet to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
    • The employee must be capable of occasionally lifting up to 70 lbs
    • Work longer hours as needed to satisfy customer and USCS daily and seasonal requirements
    • Have acceptable and / or correctable vision
