PRIMARY FUNCTION: On a daily basis, develop solutions and ensure execution of various transportation functions as administered by the Transportation and Logistics Group of USCS Logistics.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Ensure 100% Customer Service is reached on a daily basis.
Coordinate daily shipments. This includes load planning, carrier selection, scheduling, dispatching, and billing and payment functions as needed.
Ensure all costs and deemed revenues are entered in TMS for billing purposes.
Ensure all due diligence documents are obtained on carriers utilized per company policy.
Utilize load boards to match freight needs and capacity.
Ensure the solutions developed and negotiated with carriers and customers meet the profitability objectives of the department.
Research and resolve delivery discrepancies that meet customer expectations and department guidelines.

Education: High School Diploma
Experience: 2 years Transportation Experience
