    As part of the United States Cold Storage team, the candidate will be able to work on commercial three phase electrical systems up to 480 volts. Demonstrates knowledge in variable frequency drives, electric motors, starter panels and their associated control wiring. Has the ability to troubleshoot and repair refrigeration control systems including but not limited to solenoids, modulating valves, electric heaters, pressure, temperature and level sensors. 



    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Troubleshooting and repair of a wide range of electrical components.
    • Completing each repair and PM’s in a timely manner.
    • Performing scheduled maintenance on equipment.
    • Documenting completed work using work order forms and/or computer program, including time, equipment information, labor hours, and parts used.
    • Maintaining consignment part inventories and ordering parts.

    • While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to frequently use his hands, fingers and reach with arms. The employee must be capable of lifting or moving 50 pounds or more.
    • Work in heights of up to 24 feet on an aerial work platform.

         Noise levels can be loud at times depending on the area. While performing the duties of this job, the employee can be exposed to cold conditions as we are a refrigerated warehouse.



    • Background/drug Testing required.
    • Ability to perform repetitive work in a fast paced environment and capable of the defined physical activities (lifting, bending, carrying, pushing, pulling, etc.).
    • Ability to work in an industrial environment with cold temperatures.
    • Ability to follow direction and carryout work assignments.
    • Basic math and counting skills.
    • Background in industrial equipment repair and Preventative Maintenance.
    • Limited computer skills, particularly data entry.
    • Ability to read blueprints, run conduit, and wire devices.
